Now built in Japan, it is the first (mid-size) sedan to be based on Toyota's new global vehicle platform, the Mk8. Camry is lower, longer, stiffer, sportier and packed with extra standard features. Once again there are four equipment grades (now called Ascent, Ascent Sport, SX and SL) and the same 2.5-litre petrol engine opens the nine-grade model range.
